The Arc of Washington
The Arc provides organizational support to affiliated chapters, and represents
the membership on advocacy and programmatic issues pertaining to mental retardation,
including membership in the United States International Council on Mental Retardation
and Developmental Disabilities
Autism
Society of Washington Learning about Autism, Aspergers and other
aspects of Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) is a journey that requires a
lot of navigation. Having a guide to show you some of the paths already traveled
can be helpful. The Autism Society of Washington is here for you, your child,
your family, medical professionals, educators and all those with an interest in
helping individuals who experience any form of Autism to lead happy and successful

Dad’s
Supporting Dad’s of Disabled Children We are a group of Dads of
family members with special needs; needs which may be physical, mental, emotional,
or any combination thereof. We Dads come from many and varied backgrounds and
cultures. Our family members, be they "special needs" or "normal",
are at all ages of physical and mental development. We come together as a group
to share and pool our knowledge and experiences so others of the group can benefit
from them.
