Description: Join us to hear Michael Bartolotto talk about what he calls his “Positive Rebel: a no-holds-barred, man-of-action package of attributes, attitudes and beliefs that shape his life and charge his spirit.
The Forum is for persons with a disability, their families, educators, students, community members and service providers. Individuals experience self determination when they have choice and full participation in their community. In addition, there are 12 workshops, and 6 clock hours of continuing education is available. The Forum is sponsored by Self Advocates of Washington, Washington PAVE’s-Community Inclusion Program, and Pierce County Human Services. The cost is $10.00 for a person with a disability, student, or personal assistant, $15.00 for a parent, and $40.00 for a professional. Scholarships are available.
